I’m running a half marathon for the leukemia-lymphoma society in honor of the patients and their families who are currently battling this terrible illness.
Remember that finding a cure will not only eliminate this cancer for future generations, but also bring closure to survivors, their families and the families of those who were not fortunate enough to win their battle.
Being a survivor of Leukemia (ALL) and running in the Long Island half marathon is an incredible feat I thought I would never be able to accomplish. I hope you will all support me on my journey. :)
